At Tempe Obstetrics and Gynecology we enjoy
having a relationship with LabCorp.
  
LabCorp maintains a facility in
our office. This makes blood tests convenient for you and allows us to
obtain test results quickly. The length of time to receive lab results
vary according to the test. We will only contact you to discuss abnormal lab
results. Mammography centers notify you directly about your
mammogram. If you have not heard from us or the mammography center within
2 weeks, please contact our office.
You will receive a
separate bill from the lab for all blood tests, pap smears, cultures, and
biopsy specimens. There also might be a handling charge by our office for pap
smears, cultures, and biopsy specimens. Your insurance plan may not pay
for some of these tests. Insurance coverage for lab tests is not
universal.
Through
LabCorp we are able to offer
outpatients laboratory services without having to make a stop at
another facility. The LabCorp phlebotomist (Debbie) will take your
insurance information so that LabCorp
can submit it to your insurance company. Any items not paid by your
insurance company will be billed to you separately from Tempe OG/GYN.
This service is
efficient, reliable and convenient. We are pleased to offer it to
our patients.

Laboratory
Debbie is employed by
LabCorp and has been the
phlebotomist at Tempe OB/Gyn for over six years. She enjoys
spending time with her husband Mike and son Chris.
